Actress and television personality Ciara Sotto revealed that she was granted the annulment of her marriage with her former husband Joe Oconer.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Sotto said that it was back in February 2019 when she received the documents regarding the annulment of their wedding.
“Masaya, siyempre masaya. Lahat maayos na. Matagal din since nag-file ako ng annulment. Thank God na okay na,” she said.
Sotto and Oconer got married in 2010. They were blessed with one child, Crixus, who was born in March 2015.
In January 2016, Sotto first confirmed that she and Oconer have separated and that she returned to her parents’ house.
She said that infidelity is the reason of their separation.
However, Sotto said that she has decided to remain civil with her husband.
Their son, Crixus, also has no idea that his parents are no longer together.
Sotto is now happy with her new Filipino-American boyfriend, Ian Austin.
She narrated that they first met in Las Vegas but they did not immediately end up as a romantic couple since they were in different relationships back then.
Now that her marriage with Oconer is annulled, is she willing to get married once again with Austin?
“Whatever God’s will,” she said.
