We all have fascination about trains. In fact, many Filipino parents, at least in their parenting life, have used “Choo Choo Train” technique to shut up a crying toddler or play with them when it’s feeding time.
But one Reddit user’s seemingly innocent question has got the whole Internet steamed. So, how many times should you say “Chugga” before “Choo Choo”?
Most of the parents asked that answered said that it should at least be two or three “Chugga” before the echoing sound of “Choo Choo.”
But some of the parents said that it really depends on how far you want your imaginary train to go.
One of the most popular comments cited in the thread was the theme song of Batman, which has eight counts before the climax. “Na na na na na na na na, Batman.”
There was also a consensus among kindergarten teachers to have at least eight counts of “Chugga” before the “Choo Choo” to achieve the optimal distance for the train and build “excitement factor” to kids.
Filipino parents, what do you think?
