Sarah Geronimo bags two music awards in New York

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo was once again recognized internationally as she received two awards from the Big Apple Music Awards (BAMA).

Geronimo was named as this year’s Best Pilipino Artist and Most Popular BAMA Artist.

BAMA made the official announcement on their Instagram account saying that Geronimo’s trophies are now being sent to her.

“2 trophies for the Best Pilipino Artist Award & the Most Popular BAMA 2018 Artist Award has been sent to Sarah Geronimo. Congratulations,” the award-giving body said.

According to its official website, BAMA is an annual awards ceremony held in New York City since 2004. It recognizes the works and talents of the biggest music personalities from Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and many more.

BAMA’s main objective is to “recognize excellence and create a greater public awareness of cultural diversity”.

Other Asian artists who were recognized by BAMA include Super Junior as Best Korean Pop Artist and Rossa as Best Indonesian Artist Award.
