Actress Alessandra de Rossi shared during the grand press conference of her upcoming movie “Through Night and Day” on October 30 that she shot a scene for the movie in Iceland that almost cost her life.
De Rossi said that she and her co-star Paolo Contis had to film one scene wherein they were bathing in a hot spring.
However, the temperature of the water was far from hot causing her body to feel numb. De Rossi added that she almost experienced hypothermia.
The film’s director Veronica Velasco recalled how everything went down.
Nevertheless, she still commended de Rossi for delivering a brilliant performance despite the life-threatening situation she was put into.
Velasco also lauded Contis for supporting his co-star during the scene.
“In fairness kay Alex, grabe, sobrang lamig, tinapos niya yung eksena.
Maglalakad pa kami,” she said.
De Rossi added that she thought her body would stop functioning at that time because of the cold temperature of the water.
De Rossi and Contis’ movie is set to hit Philippine theaters on November 14.
