Pia Wurtzbach’s Madame Tussauds wax figure to wear Michael Cinco gown

The iconic blue ball gown created by Dubai-based fashion designer which Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach wore during her final walk will be featured at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in Hong Kong.

It was previously reported that Wurtzbach will be the first Filipino personality who will have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, and Cinco revealed on his Instagram Stories that the beauty queen’s statue will be wearing one of his creations.

Wurtzbach wore the cobalt blue couture gown when she passed on the Miss Universe crown to her successor, Iris Mittenaere of France, when the pageant was held in Manila.

Cinco said that he created the blue gown to pay homage to his best friend and fellow designer, Albert Andrada, who created Wurtzbach blue gown during the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.

Andrada also confirmed that it will be Cinco’s creation that will be brought to Hong Kong to be displayed at the said wax museum.

“Yes, it will be Michael Cinco because they will make the wax statue [look like she is] relinquishing the crown so people would have photos as if they are being crowned by Pia,” he said.
