Popstar royalty Sarah Geronimo will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Japan-Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Music Festival.
The Embassy of Japan announced this in a video uploaded on their official Facebook page. The music fest will be held at the NHK Hall in Tokyo, Japan on October 4, 2018.
In the video, Geronimo is seen inviting Filipinos in Japan to watch her performance.
“Hello to our kababayans there in Japan, this is Sarah Geronimo and I’ll be representing the Philippines in the Japan-Asean Music Festival on Oct.4 at the NHK Hall Tokyo, Japan,” Geronimo said. “Let’s all enjoy the show as I’ll be with the other ASEAN artists and soon the experience will be seen on Philippine TV. See you there! Salamat po!”
Meanwhile, her fans are over the moon to see her represent the country.
“Show them your world-class talent popstar!” urged one fan.
“First a box-office hit movie, then an international fest. There is really no end to your talents,” said another commenter.
The Embassy of Japan in cooperation with VIVA Entertainment, Inc., invited everyone to support the Filipina singer.
