Singer-actor Marlo Mortel took to social media to ask for prayers for his mother Merlie Pamintuan, who is battling stage 4 cancer.
Mortel wrote on his Twitter account on Tuesday that they are “losing” his mother.
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY MOM. WE’RE LOSING HER NOW. LORD PLEASE DON’T TAKE HER AWAY FROM US. PLEASE LORD WORK YOUR MIRACLE ON MY MOM I KNOW SHE CAN SURVIVE THIS!

A few hours later, Mortel once again updated his Twitter page with a tweet that reads: “My mom is still in critical condition. God you are the only one who can heal & revive her ultimately. You can see how hard she’s fighting for her life. We are asking for continuous prayers. Nothing is impossible with you Jesus!”

He then posted a photo which shows him holding his mother’s hand asking her not to give up on her fight yet.

The Kapamilya actor has also received support from his showbiz friends including Maris Racal and Hero Angeles.

In recent interviews, Mortel revealed that his mother’s health condition has worsened and that only a miracle can save her.
Pamintuan was first diagnosed with cancer last 2014 and has been fighting for her life since then.
