Last month, rumors circulated online about the marital status of Filipina actress Cristine Reyes and husband mixed martial artist Ali Khatibi.
Entertainment blogger Fashion Pulis reported last April that Reyes and Khatibi might be having some domestic problems as the latter was rarely seen on the actress’ social media posts.
Now, netizens are wondering if it is really over between Reyes and Khatibi after the former unfollowed her husband on Instagram.
As seen on Fashion Pulis’ Instagram Scoop, Cristine now only follows five people on Instagram and her husband is not one of them.
It can be recalled that earlier this year, Reyes shared a cryptic post on her Instagram. In the post, the actress prayed for her marriage with Khatibi.
Her post spurred speculations that her relationship with Khatibi is on the rocks.
The post has since been deleted, but the caption once read: “Dear God, I pray for my marriage right now. Please guard my relationship with my husband and protect us against elements that tempt or taunt us to ruin what we have. Convict our hearts when we are wrong or un-righteous, fill us with a passion to get better and bless us with a deep love for each other in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
There are no confirmations yet if the rumors are true. Nevertheless, netizens are still hoping that the couple will be able to rebuild their relationship.
Reyes and Khatibi had a simple yet intimate wedding ceremony in Balesin in January 2016 after three years of dating. They were blessed with one daughter, Amarah.
