“I don’t really think only of myself anymore. Every time I do anything, I think of Xavi first,” she said in the interview explaining on how motherhood changed her.

After the news erupted, the celebrity stylist, who was formerly linked to John Lloyd Cruz, also shared a photo of her cradling her baby on Instagram, and simply wrote her baby’s name as the caption.

Her “It Girl” friends expressed their love and support by commenting on the said post. Anne Curtis said, “I miss you, Xavi!” while Georgina Wilson commented, “I love this so much.”

Moreover, Uy did not mention the birthday of her son, but local showbiz news claim that she gave birth in the United States before 2017 ended, which was why she wasn’t present during Curtis’ wedding in New Zealand.

Netizens, however, can’t help but ask the first-time mother who the father of her baby is.

Although Uy has not formally confirmed the rumors, many netizens and online websites are claiming that Raymond Racaza, a married man, is Xavi’s father.

According to his Bloomberg profile, Racaza is the president, chief operating officer, and co-founder of Xurpas Inc., a company that creates celebrity-oriented mobile game apps. He also happens to be married to a certain Dr. Geraldine Zamora Racaza.

Due to the speculations, many netizens were not pleased with the news and tagged Uy as a “homewrecker”.

Adding fuel to the fire are the cryptic post of Geraldine on Instagram, which many suspect were meant for Uy.

However, there are still some who expressed their support and congratulated the new mom.
