With just one day remaining before Kalayaan 2026, Filipino artists set to perform at the June 7 celebration met members of the media, content creators, community leaders, and supporters during a press conference at BurJuman Mall.
Actress-singer Arci Muñoz, together with P-pop groups G22, ALAMAT, and 1st.One, arrived in Dubai ahead of their scheduled performances at Dubai World Trade Centre and participated in a series of interviews and media engagements on Saturday.
The press conference brought together representatives from various Filipino community organizations, event partners, media outlets, and digital content creators, providing an opportunity for attendees to interact with the performers before Sunday’s event.
The gathering marked one of the final activities leading up to Kalayaan 2026, an annual Philippine Independence Day celebration that draws members of the Filipino community from across the UAE.
Throughout the event, artists participated in interviews, photo sessions, and discussions with members of the media, while organizers shared updates ahead of the June 7 program.
Beyond the performances, the event highlighted the role of community organizations, partners, and volunteers who have been involved in preparations for this year’s celebration.
Kalayaan 2026 will be held on June 7 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
