Angeline Quinto set the record straight that she has not undergone a nose job, but has tried other cosmetic surgery procedures.
In an interview with PEP last March 5, the singer admitted that she considered getting her nose done before but decided not to because she was told that it might affect the quality of her voice.
“Yung voice coach ko, tinanong ko siya, ‘Doc, kung sakaling magpa-trim ako ng nose, maaapektuhan po ba ang singing ko?’
“Ang sabi ng doktor ko sa akin, ‘Honestly, wala namang epekto yun. Basta huwag lang mangyari na merong part sa ilong mo na masyadong manipisan.’
“So, ayun lang po. Medyo natatakot po ang loob ko,” she said.
She also said that she doesn’t have the time to get a nose job.
“Saka baka magalit ang Diyos sa akin na, ‘Hindi ka kuntento sa ibinigay ko sa ‘yo?’
“Sa totoo lang, sa totoo po, every time na pupunta ako ng Belo may mga client na nagtatanong sa akin kung ipinagawa ko ba ang ilong ko. Siyempre, matapang akong sasagot kasi na hindi naman talaga. Hindi nga ako makahanap ng isang linggong pahinga, parang magpapagawa pa ba ako ng ilong?” she added.
However, Quinto was quick to admit that she has undergone fat reduction surgical procedure.
“Aminado akong nagpa-lipo ako,” she said.
Quinto added that she is ready to prove that her nose is not fake.
“Pero kung sa nose.. lalaban ako nang patayan. Suntukin niyo ako nang harapan kung mababali ang ilong ko. Hindi, totoo lang. Hindi ako naiinis na hindi mawala-wala yung isyu na ganun [nose job] pero kung yun ang totoo, papatunayan ko yun sa kanila.
“Yung lipo, mga four years ago na po. May record po yung sa Belo,” the singer said.
Aside from liposuction, Quinto also admitted that she has also undergone deep set eyelid surgery and bust reduction.
“Medyo nahihirapan na din po ako pag ASAP. Siyempre, every Sunday po kaming nasa ASAP. Dumadating po kami sa point na sobrang fit na yung gown sa katawan ko, pero pagdating dito [sa dibdib], mahirap,” she explained on why she decided to reduce the size of her bust.
