Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Maine Mendoza took it to Twitter to greet her “husband” a happy birthday.
To the disappointment of Aldub fans, the “husband” she was referring to is not her on-screen partner Alden Richards, but the lead singer of the British rock band Coldplay, Chris Martin.
Mendoza posted a photoshopped photo of herself to make it look like she is sitting next to the Coldplay frontman.
“Happy birthday sa asawa ko, binati kita sa Eat Bulaga sana napanood mo. Enjoy ka diyan. Miss you, love you,” Mendoza said on Twitter as she tagged Coldplay on her tweet.

Martin celebrated his 41st birthday last March 2.
However, many solid Aldub fans decided to go along with Mendoza’s joke as they humorously disagree with her by saying that her only “husband” is Richards.

Even celebrities joined in the exchange of tweets in the Twitterverse. TV host and news anchor Christine Babao tweeted: “Go push! Same March born! tweet back, Chris!”

Talent manager and showbiz columnist Lolit Solis also said that Mendoza’s photoshopped photo reminded her of her obsession with Korean actor, Jo Insung.
Coldplay, formed in 1996, is the rock band behind the hits “Something Just Like This”, “Viva La Vida”, “The Scientist”, and “Fix You”.
