Richard Gutierrez confirmed that Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban will no longer be joining him and Angel Locsin on their upcoming movie project.
The Kapamilya actor said that there had been some changes in casting which caused Panganiban to be removed from the film.
“Hindi ko alam kung dapat kong sabihin ito. Pero parang kami na lang ni Angel,” Gutierrez said.
It was announced on May 2017 that the three Kapamilya stars will be working together for a movie under Star Cinema.
“Bago ko pa narinig iyong story ay sinabi na sa akin na, ‘Are you OK with working with Chard?’ Sabi ko, ‘Game, anong oras iyong call time ko?’ I’m very excited na makatrabaho ulit si Chard. Sobrang nami-miss ko siyang katrabaho,” Locsin said back then.
The movie will be about “sisters-in-law who find themselves torn apart by accusations of infidelity”.
The film’s director will be Nuel Naval who also directed the films “This Time”, “A Secret Affair”, and “The Love Affair”.
Amid the changes in the said movie, Gutierrez also said that he still would like to work with Panganiban in the future.
“Oo siyempre, gusto ko rin siyang makatrabaho. Pero I don’t call the shots. Wala pa namang final, so tingnan na lang natin,” Gutierrez said.
