After sixteen years of feud between them, actresses Aiko Melendez and Ara Mina have finally buried the hatchet.
In an appearance on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” October 3, Ara Mina shared how she and Aiko ended their 16-year rift after bumping into each other at an event.
“Tumabi siya sa akin at sabi niya, ‘Uy, kumusta ka na?’ Tapos iyon, tuloy-tuloy na iyong conversation namin,” she said.
The two shared photos of their meeting on Instagram, signaling that all is finally well between them.
“It was nice seeing you,” Ara Mina wrote in the caption.
Aiko wrote, “So good to finally catch up with you after so many years. Hang-out soon.”
The rift between the actresses started in 2001 when Ara Mina was linked romantically to Jomari Yllana, who was at that time married to Aiko.
Then in 2011, Ara Mina was romantically linked to former Bulacan Mayor Patrick Meneses, who happened to be a former boyfriend of Aiko.
Meneses and Ara Mina have a three-year-old daughter named Amanda, while Aiko has an 18-year-old son with Yllana named Andre.
