Here are some Filipino celebrity couples who prove that in love, age doesn’t matter:
Hayden Kho (37) and Vicky Belo (61) – 24 years
After almost 12 years of being together, celebrity doctor Vicky Belo finally married her long-time boyfriend Hayden Kho in Paris on Saturday, September 2. Belo wore not only one, but four gowns made by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco on her wedding day.
Their two-year-old daughter, Scarlet Snow, is a certified social media darling, being the most followed celebrity baby on Instagram with 1.3 million followers.
Vic Sotto (63) and Pauleen Luna (28) – 35 years
The Eat Bulaga host first met his future wife Pauleen when she competed on the show’s Little Miss Philippines contest at age six. Seventeen years later, Luna became a regular host in GMA’s noontime variety show.
After dating for five years, the hosts tied the knot on January 2016. Luna has recently given birth to their first child.
Sotto has three children from his previous relationships with Danica Sotto-Pingris being the oldest at age 34.
Robin Padilla (47) and Mariel Rodriguez (33) – 14 years
Another couple who met as co-hosts are Robin and Mariel after their stint hosting the noontime variety show Wowowee.
The couple married at the Taj Mahal in India in 2010. Following two miscarriages, it seems like third time’s a charm for the celebrity couple as they welcomed their daughter, Maria Isabella last November.
Padilla has six other children Ali, Queenie, Kylie, Zhen-Zhen, Mico, and Camille.
Billy Crawford (35) and Coleen Garcia (24) – 11 years
Next on the list of co-hosts-turned-lovers are Showtime hosts Billy and Coleen who started dating in 2014 after Crawford and singer Nikki Gil ended their six-year relationship.
The actor-singer popped the question last December and the couple is set to marry in 2018.
Richard Gutierrez (33) and Sarah Lahbati (23) – 10 years
The Kapuso heartthrob met the Swiss-Filipina actress at the set of GMA’s “Makapiling Kang Muli” in 2012.
Lahbati temporarily stepped out of the limelight in 2013 and gave birth to their son, Zion, in Switzerland.
The couple is set to say their “I do’s” next year.
Gerald Sibayan (23) and Ai-Ai delas Alas (52) – 29 years
Ai-Ai delas Alas and her 23-year old boyfriend Gerald Sibayan have finally tied the knot on December 12.
They got engaged in April after celebrating their third anniversary.
This is her third marriage for Ai-Ai. Her previous marriage to Jed Salang only lasted a month after she claimed that he physically abused her.
Her son, 26-year old Sancho, said he maintains a close bond with Sibayan.
Michael Yamson (41) and Dionisia Pacquiao (68) – 27 years
Yamson was the first one to notice the ‘Pacmom’ in 2014 when he saw her from afar at a karaoke bar in General Santos City.
Yamson was with the Pacquiao family in Los Angeles when Manny Pacquiao faced off with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2015.
