Earlier this month, businessman Xian Gaza asked his celebrity crush out on a date via a billboard advertisement in Morayta.
The object of his affection, actress Erich Gonzales, finally reveals her answer to the coffee date proposal after consulting her family and friends.
“To be honest, regarding that issue, noong una, just like you guys, na-surprise ako. Natuwa naman ako sa effort. [But] as things unfolded, lumabas ‘yung mga exposé about him. Ako naman kasi personally, lahat naman ng supporters ko naa-appreciate ko lahat ng ginagawa nila, malaking bagay o maliit man ‘yan,” Gonzales said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
The billboard proposal garnered national attention and brought to light the alleged shady practices of the businessman. Because of this, along with Xian’s lengthy messages for Erich on social media, the actress became uncomfortable and decided not to meet him.
The actress, who recently broke up with Daniel Matsunaga, has a tip for those who want to get her attention
“You don’t have to do anything grand or whatsoever to get my attention, you know I’m a very simple girl”.
