Four Filipino films have been included in the line-up of movies to be shown in the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic (BiFan) Film Festival in South Korea.
Award-winning film “Birdshot” by Mikhail Red is featured in the World Fantastic Red section “for those who love blood-spattering action, creepy horror, and heart-pumping thrillers”.
Birdshot director Mikhail Red and producer Pamela L. Reyes will head to South Korea for the festival.
Other original Filipino films which will vie in the film fest under the Best of Asia line-up are Olivia Lamasan’s “Barcelona: A Love Untold”; Maryo J. Delos Reyes’s “The Unmarried Wife”; and Joyce Bernal’s “The Super Parental Guardians”.
The BiFan Film Festival will run from July 13 to July 23, 2017 in Bucheon, South Korea.
