Indie film “Magtanggal” has been nominated for three categories in the Madrid International Film Festival 2017 (Madrid IFF).
The film’s director, Sigfreid Sanchez, has been nominated for Best Director while its lead actor, Tom Rodriguez, has been nominated for Best Lead Actor and its lead actress, Yam Concepcion, has been nominated for Best Lead Actress in the Madrid IFF 2017.
The film festival will be held in Madrid, Spain from July 8 to July 15, 2017.
Magtanggol is a film about a political clan’s scandal as a senator is accused of being a principal suspect in several killings of abusive OFW employers.
