Beauty queen Venus Raj has achieved another personal milestone by finishing her postgraduate studies.
The Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Community Development at the University of the Philippines-Diliman in Quezon City.
“To those who became instruments in making this journey possible, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I can never boast of this moment, this is all by the grace of God,” Raj said in the caption of her “Sablay” photo posted on Instagram.
Raj obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts, major in Journalism at the Bicol University. She graduated Cum Laude.
She currently appears on TV as a co-host for Umagang Kay Ganda, a daily morning show aired on ABS-CBN.
Raj was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2010.
She was temporarily dethroned due to inconsistencies between her birth certificate and personal account of her birth, but she reclaimed the title as she was declared a Philippine citizen by virtue of the jus sanguinis principle.
