Actor Aljur Abrenica made headlines late January alongside current beau Kylie Padilla when the two announced that they are expecting their first child.
But months after the couple’s big reveal, the young actor found himself in the hot seat again. This was after GMA refused to renew his contract after his previous one expired, finally letting go of the actor.
It can be remembered that the actor suddenly disappears from the limelight in 2014 after a very public debacle with his mother network GMA, when he filed for the supposed termination of his contract with GMA. Two years after, things were ironed out between the actor and the network; Abrenica was seen various projects.
Both parties are still mum about the said termination of contract.
The 27 year old actor found fame in the fourth season of GMA’s artista search reality show StarStruck and was named the Ultimate Survivor of the said series. His career in the channel included starring roles in Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, Luna Mystica, and Machete to name a few.
