Blackmailer of Filipino who committed suicide in Dubai to be deported

The blackmailer of the Filipino who took his own life in Muhaisnah, Dubai in 2017 will be deported back to his home country after being found guilty of threatening to shame the victim on WhatsApp.

The Pakistani man was sentenced to six months in jail to be followed by deportation after the Filipino committed suicide following threat that he would send photos of his indecent act.

According to investigation, the Pakistani discovered that the victim was homesexual when a friend of him sent him photos of their explicit act.

With the photos he got hold of, the Pakistani demanded an iPhone5 in exchange for the scandalous photos.

Court records show that the Filipino hang himself inside the washroom of a trading company’s labor accommodation at Al Muhaisnah.

The Filipino left a note pointing authorities to the 23-year-old Pakistani co-worker.

During investigation, the Pakistani admitted to blackmailing the Filipino.
