His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, proudly cited the ‘open foreign policy’ as one of the key points why the country has won the world’s trust and attained its global reputation.
“The UAE has won trust of the world and gained international reputation thanks to its balanced, open foreign policy and following in the step of the late Sheikh Zayed’s policy for building close, strong relations,” the Crown Prince said.
The Crown Prince stated this as he welcomed heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations abroad during the 12th UAE Ambassadors and Mission Heads Forum at Al Bahr Palace.
The forum is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) for interaction, dialogue and exchanging ideas among UAE ambassadors and diplomats.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed wished the ambassadors and the country’s representatives abroad good luck as “they represent a liaison point between the UAE and countries of the world.”
The Crown Prince said that expectations for the efforts of the ambassadors in the diplomatic field were high as the UAE continues to seek more diplomatic dynamism to establish the country’s bilateral ties with other nations.
