LOOK: Jackie Forster, family spend New Year in Dubai

After spending Christmas in Hongkong, former actress Jackie Forster and her family flew to the UAE to celebrate the new year in Dubai.

A few days before 2018 ended, Forster posted a photo on her Instagram account showing her and her kids on board a plane bound for Dubai.

When the clock struck twelve, Forster, together with her husband Michael Franken and their three kids Jared, Caleigh, and Yohan, welcomed the new year by watching the grand foreworks display at the Burj Khalifa. Her family stayed at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel and had dinner at Izakaya.

“All in all it was a good relaxed night with an awesome view of the Burj Khalifa,” Forster captioned one of her posts.

Dinner at Izakaya then walked onto the road to view fireworks from 2 blocks away ❤️ we planned to be away from the crowds because of the kids and so we can easily get a ride back home and good thing we did because kids were knocked out in the taxi which we got within 3mins. Yohan was about to have a meltdown in traffic ? But all in all it was a good relaxed night with an awesome view of the Burj Khalifa ? sharing snippets of our NYE2018/2019 #familyftravels ??

After the New Year celebration, Forster and her family even went around Dubai and visited several locations, such as Arabian Tea House, Dubai Gold Souk, La Mer Dubai, Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, and Dubai Desert Safari.

We went to the largest gold market in the world, sorry not the oldest (I heard the man wrong) @caleighsimone was still so polite even when the sellers were a tad bit aggressive, its mostly the same in different countries.. but they don’t touch you as much as they did here, which I found sort of odd due to the man vs woman cultural differences here. ?? This was a cool experience nonetheless, kids were able to buy and haggle prices for their souvenirs ? #familyftravels ?? #thekikaycaleighshow ? #kikaycaleigh ?

In a separate post, Forster said that she is thankful for all the wonderful things that happened in the past year and that she is looking forward to creating more worthwhile memories with her family.

“Thank you Lord for such a blessed and fulfilling 2018! I’m wiser, stronger, and the happiest I have ever been. If people only knew the details of how we got to here and now. Maybe one day, I’ll write that book and hopefully soon J.A.C.K.Y. (initials of the names of her five children) will be complete. For now, we carry on happily building awesome memories,” she said.
