There is no denying that Kris Aquino is a loving, candid mother. Her social media posts often involve his sons, one of whom is Bimby who has inherited her outspoken and confident personality.
Last March 14, Kris posted a picture of her and Bimby and said that her son, who is only 10 years old, is already surpassing her in terms of height.
“This was from our IG Live earlier. My 10-year-old is so much taller than me (I’m 5’3 in my bare feet, thank God for platform heels) and he is definitely so much more madaldal than me. Kanino kaya nagmana? Good night, sleeping early – we have a shoot tomorrow,” she captioned the photo.
A netizen with the Instagram handle @chrisbmau25 noticed that Bimby is growing faster and wondered if his mother is ready if he decides to be in a relationship soon.
“Are you ready if Bimb will have a girlfriend soon?” the netizen asked.
Being the straightforward mother that she is, Kris replied, “Yes — but we have a deal. I have to like her mom and she has to be smart, studious, prayerful and pretty.”
In a past vlog (video blog), Kris and Bimby agreed that the latter can marry at the age of 30. She even joked about visiting Bimby’s future high school to choose his girlfriend for him.
Nevertheless, Kris said that she will remain open-minded to whoever Bimby wants to love and would respect his life choices.
“Whatever life choices Bimb shall make, they are his. I only pray that he shall remain kind-hearted, compassionate, responsible, studious, hardworking, articulate, determined and respectful,” she said.
