Actress Isabel Granada is currently in a comatose state after collapsing Tuesday night, October 24, in Doha, Qatar, according to a Facebook post of close friend Lalaine Bianca Lopez.
Granada is at Hamad General Hospital and is scheduled to undergo an operation after suffering from a brain aneurysm and multiple cardiac arrests.
“Isa is in a coma now. She was rushed at the Heart Hospital Hamad Medical Corp. and status was post cardiac arrest…she was transferred to Hamad General Hospital and it’s confirmed she has internal bleeding and aneurysm,” Lopez’s post read.
Close friend and former actor Robby Tarroza also took to social media to pray for the recovery of the actress.
Granada’s former on-screen partner, Chuckie Dreyfus, said he has spoken to her husband and is updated with the actress’ condition.
“Isa, please be strong. You’ve always been a fighter. You’re one of the strongest women I know, mentally, spiritually and emotionally,” he said.
The actress attended The Philippine Trade and Tourism Conference in Doha last Friday, October 20.
Early this month, the actress was in the UAE for her “Girl On Fire with Isabel Granada” concert.
