After failing to secure a major crown in the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 and became this year’s 1st runner-up, Herlene Nicole Budol says that she will be returning to show business and is not inclined to join a beauty pageant in the future.
Former Miss Universe Philippines MJ Lastimosa shared in a tweet that she was able to speak with Budol and asked her if she will join again next time.
“Chinika ko si Budol Sabi ko proud ako sayo ang galing mong sumagot! Sumali ka pa ulit. Sagot niya: last ko na to ate. Aww why naman langga,” MJ said.

Reporters then followed it up in a post pageant press conference and asked Budol about her future plans.
“Yun po yung di pa natin alam. God’s will ‘yan. Antayin lang po natin kung saan po tayo dalhin ng panahon,” Budol said.
“Babalik po tayo ng showbiz at siyempre, gagampanan ko rin po yung mga trabaho ko na kailangan pong gawin sa Binibini,” she added.

Binibinining Pilipinas 2022 was the first pageant for Herlene.
She also managed to win special awards from pageant sponsors and brands.
Two of the major pageant awards including yhe Best in Swimsuit and Best in Evening Gown went to Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabby Basiano.
