The Dubai Police have confirmed that a wild animal has been spotted in a residential community.
Authorities say that they are now coordinating and ensuring measures are in place to minimize risks posed by the animal in the Springs 3 community.
Trained professionals are currently conducting an extensive search to locate and capture the wild animal.

“Dubai Police today reassured the community that it is taking all measures to minimise any potential danger to people from a wild animal that was spotted in The Springs 3 area in Dubai.Trained professionals are currently conducting an extensive search to locate&capture the animal,” the police said in a statement.
Community residents feared for their safety after a ‘jaguar’ was spotted in their area, as per reports from Khaleej Times.
Authorities advised members of The Springs community to exercise “all necessary caution”.
The Dubai Police also reminded the public that bringing wild animals in residential areas is prohibited in the Emirate.

“Violators can face a jail term of up to six months in addition to severe financial penalties,” it said in a statement.
The police ask the public to report if they have spotted the animal.
