Photos and video of President Rodrigo Duterte were released on Saturday as the public continues to ask the whereabouts of the President

The weekly national address of President Duterte was cancelled twice this week making the #NasaanAngPangulo trend on social media.

On his official Facebook page, Senator Bong Go released photos and video of the chief executive riding a motorcycle and jogging.

“Mga kababayan ko, malungkot at mahirap ang maging Pangulo sa panahong ito. Suportahan natin si Tatay Digong, ang taong totoong nagmamahal,” the president former special aide wrote.

The undated photos and videos released is a follow-up to a post made by Go, where the President can be seen sitting on a desk along with the Senator.

Duterte, who skipped the Day of Valor rites yesterday, April 9, was last seen on March 29 when he welcomed the arrival of one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines procured from Chinese drug manufacturer Sinovac.

In a statement on Wednesday, presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the weekly ‘Talk to the Nation’ of the President was postponed in light of the rising number of active COVID-19 cases in the country.

Roque also stressed that the physical safety of the President remains their utmost concern.

The Presidential spokesperson took a swipe at those who are claiming that recent photos of Duterte were edited.

“As to claims that the recent photos of President Duterte are photoshopped, those who made noise on the matter are the usual detractors of the Chief Executive who see nothing good in what he does. Let them be,” he said,

Meanwhile, Go said that the weekly address was cancelled due to 45 members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) tested positive for COVID-19.

Go also assured that the President is in good shape  (RA)
