Pasig City residents have been advised not to entertain any individuals who are offering doses of the COVID-19 vaccine through social media.
Vico Sotto, mayor of Pasig City, shared on social media that someone reported about the fake vaccines that might have arrived in their city.

“Beware!! Wag bumili sa mga ganito! Picture pa lang kita nang mali ang handling. Maglolokohan lang kayo niyan,” said Sotto who was referring to the fact that the Pfizer vaccine in particular had to placed in cold storage.
“Dapat dumaan sa nasyonal na pamahalaan ang pagbili ng kahit anong bakuna. For our safety. Health care frontliners din po ang mauunang bakunahan,” he added.
Authorities stated that the first batch of vaccines will enter the country this week, with Filipino healthcare professionals as the first in line to be injected with the jab in the country.
