Following his revelation that he is a bisexual, social media personality Xander Ford has introduced his boyfriend on July 20 on his most recent YouTube vlog.
His boyfriend, identified as Jerick Fernandez, was masked for the most part of the vlog—which tackled how their relationship blossomed—only taking it off at the near end of the video.
Ford said that they have been following each other on social media since 2018, but only got to meet last year. He said that their companionship blossomed when he started opening up to him about his sexuality.

The personality added that he always thought of himself as a straight man, having four heterosexual relationships—the last of which sparked controversy following the girl’s claims of physical and sexual abuse against Ford.
However, he said he started developing feelings for Fernandez as their friendship deepened.
“Talagang hindi po ako na-a-attract sa lalaki. Nito po lang, parang ngayon ko lang na-realize na may naramdaman akong ganito, parang na-develop ako sa kapwa ko lalaki.”
He added that there was no courtship that happened, and that their relationship was sudden
“Hindi ko siya niligawan, hindi niya ako niligawan. Gusto niya ako, gusto ko rin siya. Parang sobrang close po namin, parang nagkakapalagayan kami ng loob. Parang feeling naming, MU, parang mutual understanding,” added Ford.
