Marlou Arizala settles dispute with talent agency; search for new Xander Ford continues

In a recent Facebook post, the talent agency Star Image Artist Management announced that Xander Ford’s (a.k.a Marlou Arizala) suspension was lifted and he is now back into the agency’s circle of artists.

However, he will be using the name Marlou Arizala moving forward.

The agency said a closed-door meeting was held between them and Arizala’s lawyer, Atty. Rizzle Alburo.

In a Facebook live video, Arizala opened up that he wants to clear the air between him and his talent agency.

A representative from the agency named ‘David’ sat down with Arizala during the Facebook live. He explained that Arizala lost the copy of his contract and did not have enough time to review its provisions.

The management representative also said that they are supportive of Arizala’s plans to go back to school and reminded him that he should stop blocking them on social media accounts.

Arizala was quiet in the entire 20 minute plus video but later on thanked those who continue to support him.

Plans for Arizala remain unclear, while Star Image will launch its nationwide search for the next Xander Ford.

To recall, the agency made a number of accusations against Arizala.

In a Facebook post on April 22, the agency said it has indefinitely suspended Arizala due to bad behavior and violations of his contractual obligations.

The management even declared that it’s stripping Arizala his screen name Xander Ford and began a new talent search to look for the next Xander Ford.

The agency also claimed that Arizala has shown unprofessionalism that led to an unaired episode of Vice Ganda’s Gandang Gabi Vice.
