Ai-Ai Delas Alas shared her thoughts on the controversial Brazilian comedy on Netflix ‘The First Temptation of Christ’.
A number of online petitions demanded the streaming giant to remove the series because of blasphemy and mockery of the Christian faith.
On her social media accounts, Delas Alas said that it’s disrespectful to mock Jesus Christ, God the Father and Virgin Mary.
“Patawarin mo po sila LORD. Sign the petition to stop showing this sa NETFLIX —sino man ang gumawa nito masusunog kayo sa impyerno.. #sacrilege #blasphemy,” Delas Alas posted.
The series featured Jesus Christ as a homosexual and Mary using marijuana.
For the Brazilian producer of the series, they are not affected because the petitions are being made by homophobic individuals.
