Miss World PH Michelle Dee: I’m gonna bring the best game I have to offer

Miss World Philippines Michelle Dee said that she has mixed emotions as the grand coronation night of Miss World 2019 finally takes place on Saturday.

In an interview with GMA News, a day before the coronation day, Michelle said that she has already formed a connection and bond with other Miss World candidates.

“I’m both happy and I’m sad because I’ve gained a really strong connection with all the girls here but overall it’s just an overwhelming amount of emotions,” she said.

Michelle thanked Filipino fans for their support on her Miss World journey. She said that she is more than ready in giving her best for the competition.

Michelle was chosen as part of the head-to-head challenge where in she was given the opportunity to discuss her advocacy on autism awareness.

“I’m gonna bring the best game I have to offer, I have to make sure that my head game was strong as well because all of the nations here are showcasing their best,” Michelle added.

With the daily activities, the winter season and her constant preparation for the competition, Michelle admitted that she was sick last week.

“If the competition was held last week, definitely makakaapekto siya, pero good thing I was able to recover naman,” she added.

Michelle is eyeing the second Miss World crown for the Philippines after 2013. Megan Young was the first Miss World winner from the country.
