A netizen showed how proud he is of his father for working hard as a scavenger so he could graduate from college.
Junnel Gemida posted on Facebook his graduation photo as well as a photo of his father last Aug. 5.
“Flex ko lang tatay ko kahit basurero siya napagraduate niya ako,” Gemida wrote on his caption.
Junnel’s father is 51-year-old Juanito Reyes. For 13 years, Juanito endured the stench garbage so he could send his eldest son Junnel and daughter Jeny to school.
For Juanito, education is the only treasure he could leave his children.
His hard work paid off when Junnel got his diploma after completing school.
The story of their family touched many netizens that Junnel’s post was shared 43,000 times and gained 70,000 plus reactions on Facebook.
