Bayani Fernando proposes ‘no handshake’ policy to avoid diseases

A Marikina lawmaker is pushing for an anti-handshake policy to prevent any disease from spreading.

In a media forum, Marikina Representative Bayani Fernando said that he has filed a resolution against handshaking as form of greeting another person.

For now, Fernando suggests that instead of a handshake, a person can place his hand on his chest or bow lightly to greet a person.

Fernando believes that his proposal will get the support of the majority now that the country is at the height of battling contagious diseases.
