Heart Evangelista has confirmed that her parents Rey Ongpauco and Cecile Ongpauco had split up a long time ago.
In one of Heart’s Instagram posts, she was asked by a netizen about her mother: “@iamhearte hindi ko po nakikita ang Mommy mo sa family niyo po. Asaan po cya?”
Heart replied, “They separated long time ago.” The actress also added in a separate comment: “They are happier this way and we support that.” Being a daddy’s girl, Heart has been sharing more photos of her father.
In one of her previous vlog, she invited him to appear and cook their family’s heirloom recipe.
Meanwhile, her last social media update about her mother was in 2017.
