Learning about his wife’s extramarital affair proved too much for a tricycle driver in Sta. Cruz, Manila who committed suicide on Thursday, September 8.
According to police reports, Robert Clasara found out that his live-in partner Analyn Cabilyo was having an affair with another man alias Buboy.
Sensing that her partner was deeply upset, the woman decided to leave their house and went to her lover’s home.
At around 4:30 in the afternoon, Buboy accompanied Analyn back to Clasara’s place but they were surprised to find Clasara’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling.
The the Manila Police District Homicide Division said they are still looking into whether a foul play was involved in the incident.
According to a witness, however, she heard Clasara an hour before he was found dead, telling an unidentified female that he wanted to take his own life.
