An outdoor free-for-all pop-up cinema has been launched by #DXBExperiments in Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, Jumeirah Beach.
The open-air movie venue called The Cinema will screen 27 movies at 8pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday until Dec 26.
Cult films such as Die Hard, Star Wars, Blade Runner and Jaws; and classics such as Amelie, Casablanca, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Spirited Away are among the movies The Cinema will air for the visitors while they enjoy a night under the stars.
Entry is free on a first come first served basis, but those who would like to reserve a seat may order from the pre-theatre menus offered by the hotel’s restaurants: Zengo, Al Khaima, Geales, Rhodes Twenty10, and Maya.
Pre-theatre dinner menu can be ordered as either a three-course menu for Dh150 or a two-course menu for Dh120, the company noted.
