The Skyway Stage 3 project will be open in the first quarter of 2020, reducing travel time between northern and southern Metro Manila where the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is located.
Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar made the announcement over the weekend during the inspection of the elevated expressway.
Started in 2014, Skyway Stage 3 is 18.68 kilometers long and cost over P37 billion.
Overseas Filipino workers and their families are expected to benefit from Skyway Stage 3 as the expressway is expected to help decongest vehicular traffic in roads leading to NAIA.
Villar said the section from Buendia Avenue in Makati City to Quirino Avenue in Nagtahan is 83 percent complete, while the section from Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Balintawak is 81 percent complete.
“Construction of Skyway Stage 3 is in full blast. We are working 24/7 to deliver the infrastructure this July,” Villar was quoted in a report as saying.
Those who hates PRRD must not use his projects..
Sana magkaron ng skyway sa EDAA! THAT WOULD BE THE BEST!
