8 out of 10 OFWs buy properties for passive income

The majority of Filipinos who invest in real estate are now looking at earning passive income to give them financial freedom.

Ayala Land International Marketing SRL Country Manager for Europe revealed that many OFWs who speak to her often ask for advice on how they can earn more money from and through their real estate investments in the Philippines.

“80 (percent) talaga for their personal use na habang nag-a-abroad for additional income, 20 percent yung for retirement,” said Curaming.

She also pinpointed the factor that many OFWs often ask about the location of the properties they can choose from as well.

“Location. Location. Location. Believe it or not, it’s always the location. Yun yung main factor na kailangan nating kino-consider,” said Curaming.

Ayala Land currently has several properties in prime locations all over the Philippines. These include (but not limited to) Makati, BGC, Nuvali in Laguna, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, Balintawak, Iloilo, Pampanga, Bulacan, and more.

“We have 30 estates – kapag sinabi nating estates, community kasi siya e. It’s a mix of residential, retail, commercial, business, hotels, lahat andyan e – so it’s a complete package. And alam naman natin si Ayala Land as a master developer so very ideal yung mga locations na ino-offer natin sa Ayala Land,” explained Curaming.
