More than 990 expired packets, including cosmetic products, were seized on beauty parlours and salons in the Capital during an inspection operation led by Al Bateen Municipal Centre was part of the municipality plans to enforce hygiene measures in the commercial sector.
The municipality wants to verify the storage and sale of beauty products, in line with the quality standards set in Abu Dhabi.
The campaign aims to educate cosmetics sale outlets about the hygiene and safety requirements. Currently, the cases were referred to the court for further action.
The municipality organization revealed that they plan to continue similar campaigns covering other areas.
