Buyers of unsubsidized liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in the UAE will pay additional Dh5 this month for the 25lb cylinder and Dh10 more for the 50lb.
Unsubsidized LPG cylinders will cost Dh58 per 25lb this month compared to Dh53 last month, The National quoted Adnoc Distribution as saying.
A 50lb cylinder will cost Dh116 while the earlier marked marked retail price was Dh106, the report said.
“The prices of LPG cylinders is decided every month based on specialized studies, taking into account the interests of consumers and household customers in the UAE, while keeping up with the changing prices for the product worldwide,” Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, acting chief executive officer of Adnoc Distribution, reportedly said.
Those who hold Rahal e-Gas cards can buy the gas cylinders at Dh20 for 25lb and Dh30 for Dh50lb, across Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates, said the news portal.
