Duterte orders search for missing Filipina OFW in Saudi

President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the search for a Filipina domestic helper, named Diosalyn Seva, who has been missing in Saudi Arabia since last year,

The case came into Duterte’s radar after the missing OFW’s brother, Sgt. Michael Joe Fabian, personally asked for his help when the President visited him and other wounded soldiers at V. Luna General Hospital in August last year.

A team from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) led by Moh’d Noordin Pendosina Lomondot from the Assistance to National ng Office of Migrant Workers’ Affairs in Saudi Arabia have already spearheaded the search operations, GMA News reported.

Based on the information that reached the DFA, Seva went missing last year after she left her employer after she accused of maltreating her and violating her contract.

According to Lomondot. on top of Seva, six other OFWs have been reported missing in Saudi Arabia.
