Abu Dhabi residents are advised to apply for permits if they intend to head out of their homes using their vehicles as the emirate begins its movement ban for one week, starting today, June 2.
An advisory from the Abu Dhabi Police states that those who require to head out of the emirate need to secure their permits if they are to pass through around 12 checkpoints located all over the emirate at: https://es.adpolice.gov.ae/en/movepermit

In the portal of Abu Dhabi Police, destinations include exiting from Abu Dhabi, travel from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain, travel from Abu Dhabi to Al Dhafra, as well as other key destinations.
Earlier, the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office announced that the movement ban applies to all residents, including UAE Nationals. Exceptions to the ban that can apply for a special movement permit include those working in vital sectors, patients with chronic diseases headed to hospitals and those transporting necessary goods.

Residents are allowed to move within their region in line with the timings of the National Sterilization Programme, which only restricts movement from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
