Parts of Metro Manila and Luzon have been under heavy traffic as the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) started, GMA News reported.
Vehicles driving along the Marcos Highway in Pasig City were seen bumper-to-bumper on the first day of MECQ. Meanwhile, three lanes going to Cainta in Rizal were filled with motorists as authorities inspect each vehicle.
Reports from GMA’s 24 Oras also stated traffic building up in Masinag in Antipolo, as well as in Cavite areas including Molino, Imus, and Bacoor.
