Eat Bulaga TV host Vic Sotto said that he is proud with what his son, Vico, is doing in Pasig City amid the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 crisis.
Vico has been earning praises from Pasig residents and netizens with his efficient actions on the virus epidemic.
“Of course, proud ako that he’s doing a good job. Pero sabi ko nga, hindi lang naman siya, pati yung ibang mga ating namumuno sa bansa,” Vic told GMA News.
The TV host added that also he commends other leaders.
“Lahat sila, they’re doing a good job. Sabi ko nga, mula sa ating Pangulo hanggang sa ating mga health workers, talagang sama-sama. Pag sama-sama, may bayanihan, kakayanin natin ‘to,” the actor-comedian said.
Vico’s father also supported his son’s stand on not comparing local leaders in times of crisis.
“May nadinig akong interview sa kanya, maganda yung sinabi niya na dapat wala nang kumpara-kumpara. Ako, personally, dapat tigilan muna yung pulitika. Wala muna yung pulitikahan. Isipin na lang natin kung papa’no tayo makakatulong sa kapwa,” the TV host added.
