Sara Duterte returns to self-quarantine after exposure to Migz Zubiri

Davao City Mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte is back on her self-quarantine to prevent the possible spread of the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
In a report on GMA News, Duterte said that she chose to return to isolation over her interaction with Senator Migz Zubiri, who tested positive for the virus.
“I had a close contact with Senator Zubiri, kaya sabi ng doctor tapusin ko ang 14-day quarantine which ends on March 26,” Dutert Carpio said.
“Fourteen days kasi ang incubation period ng virus. Kung magkaroon ako ng sintomas sa 14 days, magiging PUI ako,” she added.
The Davao mayor was at the Senate last week for her confirmation as Army Reserved Colonel.
She ended her self-isolation previously after her doctor gave her clearance on her interaction with Senator Win Gatchalian.

The senator, however, tested negative for the virus unlike his colleague, Zubiri.

The mayor clarified that she will not be tested for the virus at this point.
“Hindi na muna kasi naiintindihan ko naman ang limitation natin sa testing kits, so doon na lang sa critical and severe patients,” she added.
