A Filipina has tested positive for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 in Athens, Greece.
The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that this is the first case of a Filipino contracting COVID-19 in Greece.

The DFA said that the woman is currently under home quarantine, and reportedly showing mild symptoms.
“Embassy is in close coordination with the local health authorities in Greece to assure that she is given maximum care and support,” the DFA said in a statement.

Greece has now 331 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with four deaths.
Europe is now the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, according to the World Health Organization.
