WHO confirms two staff tested positive of COVID-19

Two staff members of the World Health Organization (WHO) tested positive of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier confirmed this as he said that the staff had left the office and showed symptoms at home, Daily Mail Online reported.
They were both tested and diagnosed with coronavirus.
This is the first reported cases at the Geneva-based WHO following a confirmed case at the United Nations (UN) office and the other one at the World Trade Organization (WTO).
As of this posting, it was not specified if both staffs were working in the coronavirus response.
Linmeier said there are an estimated 2,400 consultants and staff at WHO’s headquarters. Most of them now are working from home to reduce possible transmission.
