Latest data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed that more than half of the Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) in the country tested negative for coronavirus disease (COVID-2019).
According to DOH’s real-time tracker 196 of 382 PUIs tested negative from coronavirus disease while another 183 patients are waiting for lab results.
Meanwhile, 167 patients who already cleared from COVID-19 have been discharged.
Majority of the PUIs were situated in Metro Manila, Central Visayas, Central Luzon and Calabarzon, reported GMA News.
DOH recorded one fatality from the three confirmed cases.
The World Health Organization officially named the deadly virus as coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday.
